What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club credit and debit cards for all account types. Enterprise accounts offer an annual invoicing option, which can be paid via check, PayPal, or Bitcoin.

Can I switch to a different paid plan?

Yes! Cancel your current subscription from your Profile page, then click the "Choose" link on this page for the plan you wish to start. We'll refund the unused portion of your canceled subscription. For example, if you make the switch halfway through a monthly billing cycle, we'll refund half of your last payment. If you'd like to downgrade to a Basic (free) account instead, see "How do I downgrade to a Basic account?" below.

How do I downgrade to a Basic account?

Go to your Profile page and cancel your paid subscription. You'll also need to ensure you are monitoring 10 or fewer DNS records. Once both conditions are met and your last paid billing period ends, your account will automatically downgrade within 24 hours.

For example, if you have 15 days remaining on your subscription when you cancel, your account won't be downgraded to Basic until those 15 days have passed and you have 10 or fewer DNS records.

If you prefer to have your account downgraded immediately and receive a pro-rated refund, please get in touch with us, and we'll be happy to do that for you.

How do I cancel my account?

DNS Check has no long-term contracts. You can cancel the service at any time by going to your Profile page. We'll automatically stop billing you, and your account will continue to function at your current subscription level until the end of your paid billing period.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes! If you're not 100% satisfied, we'll refund your past 90 days of service.

How can I update my credit card number?

Go to your billing page and enter the new info.

Where is my receipt or invoice?

We send a receipt to your account's billing email address when you first create a subscription, and again each time the subscription is renewed.

The billing email address defaults to your account's primary email address, but you can set a different address during checkout. You can view and update it on your billing page.

Please contact us if you can't find a receipt and would like us to resend it, or if you'd like to change the billing email address on an existing subscription.
